Blankets Creek Dirty Duathlon and Dwelling Dash 5 Mile Trail Run

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Blankets Creek Half Marathon and 10K. We hope you enjoyed the event and will join us again this coming spring for our 2013 Trail Run Series. This event, combined with three other 2012 SORBA Woodstock/MGA events, raised a combined total of over $15,000 for SORBA Woodstock to continue their trailbuilding efforts in the Woodstock and Canton area. Their next trailbuilding campaign will be for an additional 6 miles at Rope Mill Park in Woodstock, GA - site of our 2013 Half Marathon.

We are extremely excited to announce that through another great partnership with SORBA Woodstock, we will be hosting a trail half marathon and 10K on November 10th, 2012! This is the first and only trail running event on trails that were built for bike use, so we are very fortunate to be able to use such a fantastic venue. Course is mostly singletrack and will be one large loop for both courses. Terrain is rolling with a few good hills. This will be your only opportunity to experience the trails at Blankets Creek without the worry of bicycles, as our half marathon event for 2013 will be moved to Rope Mill Park as our trail run series finale.

We are excited to announce that the Georgia National Guard has joined us and will be our Presenting Sponsor for this event!

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit SORBA Woodstock for the continued maintanence of the Blankets Creek and Rope Mill Park Trails, as well as construction of new trails at both parks.
